Frequently asked questions

How should I reference MedCalc in an article I am writing?

First you get the version number of your MedCalc copy from the About MedCalc dialog box that appears under the Help menu.

For example, this will show: MedCalc Version 19.4

In your Materials and Methods section, you can then write a citation as follows:

Statistical analyses were performed using MedCalc for Windows, version 19.4 (MedCalc Software, Ostend, Belgium).
