Menu items stay permanently on screen

I have entered valid numerical data in the spreadsheet, but when I run Summary statistics for these data I get a message indicating that the sample size is 0.

The function IF(), RANDNORM() and other functions that require more than one argument do not work.

There seems to be a difference between the screen and printer output of graphs.
