Fixing MedCalc installation problems

When you encounter a persistent installer problem, we advise to completely remove MedCalc, clean your PC, and finally do a fresh MedCalc installation.

1. Uninstall MedCalc

Open Windows settings by clicking the settings icon

Locate the MedCalc app. If you find it, click it and click Uninstall

2. Delete MedCalc program folder

Open File explorer by clicking the explorer icon in the menu

or by pressing the combination of the Windows and E keys on your keyboard

Find the Programs folder on the C: drive, open it and find the MedCalc program folder. If you find it, click it and delete the MedCalc program folder.

If you have a 64-bits version of Windows, you will also find a Programs folder (x86) on the C: drive. Open it, and if you find a MedCalc program folder, delete the MedCalc program folder.

3. Use Microsoft's troubleshooter

Microsoft has a tool that can fix common problems with their installer software.

You can download it from Microsoft's Program Install and Uninstall Troubleshooter.

4. Use a Windows registry cleaner

A program such as CCleaner can fix configuration issues in the Windows registry.

You can download a free version from www.ccleaner.com.

5. Download and install the most recent version of MedCalc

You can download and install the most recent version of MedCalc from the download page.
