I have entered valid numerical data in the spreadsheet, but when I run Summary statistics for these data I get a message indicating that the sample size is 0.

Check the heading of the column which is the variable's name. This name should not start with a number, and it should not contain spaces or characters like: - + / * = < > ^ ( ) $ " ' : ,.
