MedCalc is available in 32-bit and 64-bit editions. The 32-bit version runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. The 64-bit version requires a 64-bit edition of Windows.

This is the full-featured MedCalc program. You can use it for 15 days without registration and without any feature limitations.
After this trial period you should purchase a MedCalc license so you can continue to use the software.

Installation instructions
- The MedCalc installation files are suitable for new installations as well as software updates.
- If you have previously installed MedCalc, close any open copy of MedCalc first. Then run medcalcsetup[32/64].exe and follow the on-screen instructions.
- If you want to install the 64-bit version and you have a 32-bit version of MedCalc already installed, first remove the older version through the Windows Control Panel.
- How to determine whether your computer is running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows (Microsoft website).
- Antivirus programs can sometimes interfere with the installation process. If you experience installation problems, try temporarily disabling your antivirus program and re-enable it as soon as installation is complete.

When you run the software for the first time, several MedCalc sample data files will be copied into your documents folder, typically into
Documents\MedCalc\Sample files
When you upgrade the software, the sample data files may be replaced by newer versions.
